sarah teitel

Sarah Teitel is a Toronto-based writer, musician and artist. Her work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, and Saturday Night. Currently, she writes a wine column for Argyle Magazine. She is at work on a first collection of poetry, and will soon be realeasing her fourth album of original songs. Sarah performs her music across (and sometimes outside of) Toronto. She also paints - on canvas, wood, found objects, vintage purses and cowboy boots. In the past, Sarah enjoyed working as an actress, fine-art consultant, and waitress. She also stinted briefly as a Royal Winter Fair ticket-ripper, a job that admittedly, she enjoyed less. Sarah does her best thinking on the move and after much practice, has learned to walk and operate a pen simultaneously with only the odd resulting collision.
